Me at an early shoot at Blush

I am available for photoshoots, films, commercials, education, and private clients throughout California.

About Me

I began my career as a makeup artist while working as a production assistant on various independent films around the Bay Area.  I have always enjoyed being very creative with my own daily makeup, and was often asked to help out in the makeup department on set.  I was hired as key makeup artist for my first short film in the summer of 2011, and several other projects-- more short films, local commercials, boudoir shoots, a web series, and even a feature-length film-- quickly followed.

In 2013 I decided to seriously sharpen my skills and wholeheartedly pursue a career in makeup full-time.  I quit my job as a supervisor in a popular East Bay restaurant, moved to San Francisco, and enrolled in Blush School of Makeup.  During my 8 months at Blush, I studied special effects, runway, HD, photography, bridal, airbrush, and stage makeup under working industry professionals from both Los Angeles and the Bay Area.

Within just weeks of enrolling at Blush, I was approached by the professionals at Instructables.com to create a series of makeup tutorials for their website loosely based upon the Blush curriculum.  I have upwards of 100,000 unique views and over 600 subscribers as I continue to post new and different tutorials each week.

Currently, I continue to build my brand as an educator-- continuing with my step-by-step tutorials on Instructables.com, teaching private makeup classes throughout northern California, and developing plans to launch a YouTube channel-- while continuing to pursue my passion for makeup design and application in any way that I can.
